Ingrown Hair Roll On — AHA/BHA Treatment for Razor Bumps, Bikini Line & Legs, 1.7 fl oz (50 ml)
Smooth, comfortable skin — without the bumps that usually turn up two days later.
Ingrown hairs are what happens when skin closes over a hair before it can find its way out. This is the step that helps keep the way clear.
The experience
A cool steel rollerball glides over skin in seconds — no fingers, no mess, no waiting around. The formula is light and sinks in almost immediately, so you can get dressed straight after. Fragrance-free, because the places you'll use it don't need perfume.
What's in it, and why
- Glycolic and lactic acid (AHA) — help loosen the surface buildup that traps a hair under the skin
- Salicylic acid (BHA) — oil-soluble, so it works inside the follicle rather than just on top of it
- Gluconolactone (PHA) — a larger, gentler acid molecule, chosen because the bikini line deserves a softer approach
- Aloe and allantoin — to soothe as the acids do their work
How to use
Roll over clean, dry skin once a day — ideally starting the day after you shave or wax, not the same day. Let it absorb before dressing. Avoid broken skin. Patch test first, and wear SPF on any area that sees sunlight.
Where it fits
Step three of the smooth-skin ritual: buff, remove, then treat. It's the one doing quiet work in the days between shaves, which is why it's the product people re-order first.
Designed to help reduce the appearance of bumps and support smoother-looking skin. Results vary. Not a treatment for any medical condition — if a bump becomes painful, swollen or infected, please see a healthcare professional.
FAQ
- What actually causes an ingrown hair? A hair curls back or grows sideways into the skin instead of out through the follicle opening — usually because dead skin has sealed the opening, or because the hair was cut at a sharp angle. Coarse and curly hair types get them most.
- Is it an ingrown hair or a pimple? An ingrown hair usually has a visible hair trapped under the surface and sits exactly where hair grows. A pimple can appear anywhere and has no hair in it. If you can see a dark line under the skin, it's an ingrown.
- Can you use this on the bikini line? Yes — it's formulated with a gentler PHA specifically so it can be used there. Avoid the mucous membranes, patch test first, and skip it on freshly shaved or broken skin.
- Can you use it straight after shaving? Better to wait a day. Freshly shaved skin has micro-abrasions, and acids on top of those will sting. Shave, soothe, then start the roll-on the next day.
- Does it work after waxing too? Yes, and the 72 hours after a wax is when it matters most — that's the window in which most post-wax bumps form.
- How long before you see a difference? Most people notice smoother texture across two to three shave cycles, roughly four to six weeks. It works by preventing the next round rather than clearing the current one.
- Should you pluck an ingrown hair? No. Digging one out breaks the skin, invites bacteria and is the most common route to a dark mark that outlasts the bump itself.
- Is it safe for sensitive skin? The PHA content makes it gentler than a pure glycolic product, but any acid can irritate. Start every other day, patch test, and build up.
